So after months of 4 hours a week I finally have completed my first iPhone App!

Its been up in the App Store since June 1st.  🙂  Click on the picture above to go to my webpage.

As is my habit, I’ve gone a long time without posting.  Since I last posted,  I’ve changed companies again, we had our baby girl, Meredith, and sent our oldest to High School.

I’m now working for Harmonic, on digital video servers, using Linux.  So now I’m really becoming operating system agnostic.  I started working for them in March 2011.

Meredith was born May 15th 2011 and we love her tons.  Its been tough having a toddler and a teenager at the same time.

It took about 6-8 months after Meredith was born before I got back to working on an app.  I carved out 4 hours a week were I could work on it.  I had hoped to complete my first app before I turned 40 in mid-March but didn’t quite make that deadline.  but more about that in my next post.

I finally have a basic app working.  Yeah me.  Every time you click the button it increments the number after the Hello in the text box.  You know… Hello 1, Hello 2, Hello 3…

This morning they started tearing the roof off of our house.

I haven’t bothered posting much.  We here is what has happened since a long time ago…

Seth was born April 2, 2007 so next week he’ll be a year old.

July 2007 – We put our house on the market.  Elizabeth had her first sinus surgery to remove polyps.

Oct 2007 –Tektronix was bought out by Danaher.  We yanked the house off the market till we could figure out what was happening with Danaher. 

Dec 2007 – Elizabeth had her second sinus surgery.

Jan 2008 – Had our usual yurt trip.

Feb 2008 – Decided we should build on to our house.  We decided to use Hoffard Home Improvement for our second story addition.

March 2008 – Applied for and got a new job at Cognex, working on machine vision systems.

We’ve had our house for sale for nearly 2 months and nothing is happening.  Nobody comes to look at the house.  Just nothing.  It is extremely frustrating.   Probably just having expectations that are too high.  I don’t know where all the buyers went.   Hope that people start coming around soon. 

Yesterday was the baby’s due date.  Christy did have 4 or 5 contractions last night but they were irregular and short.  Soooo the waiting continues. 

We went to the Dr. today.  No progress.  So it looks like will be another week or two before the kid makes his first showing.  Just hoping he doesn’t come on April 1st.   

We set up the crib this morning in the boys room.  Three boys in the same room.  It’s getting kinda tight. Check out this picture of the crib.
